July 10-12, 2009 - Hungry Tiger Press and Eric Shanower will appear at the 2009 Winkie Convention of the International Wizard of Oz Club, Inc. at Asilomar Conference Center, Asilomar Drive, Pacific Grove, CA. David Maxine, publisher of Hungry Tiger Press, is the program chairman and has some exciting presentations lined up. Click here to access the registration form. Accommodations on the Asilomar grounds are officially sold out, but you can still attend the convention if you stay elsewhere in the area. A word to the wise Oz fan: just the Program Book alone might be worth the price of admission--if you recognize names such as Gregory Maguire, Ray Bradbury, Skottie Young, John Fricke, Joe Phillips, etc.
