This piece of music from L. Frank Baum's 1914 silent film The Patchwork Girl of Oz was originally written by Louis F. Gottschalk in 1907.

It is one of only two pieces of pre-exisiting music that Gottschalk used in this very early film score. The other piece is Dear Old Hank from The Tik-Tok Man of Oz which is used as a theme for the mule in the Patchwork Girl film.

The Secrets music covers the scene in which Dr. Pipt first sets off to find the water from the Dark Well and he encounters the Magic House. This eerie music then plays during the stop-motion animation of the dishes preparing a meal for Dr. Pipt and his eating of the meal.
